Providing $20M in relief with our Eat Local Support Initiative
Throughout 2021, Uber Eats committed to support restaurants during the pandemic and help them keep serving their neighborhoods.
Restaurant relief grants
Uber Eats teamed up with the Local Initiatives Support Corporation to bring $4.5 million in grants to small businesses coping with COVID-19 challenges.
Zero fees, more options
Through the pandemic, Uber Eats offered 0% promotional pricing on orders placed through the app for Pickup and orders placed on restaurant-owned websites.
Free Daily Payouts
To help reduce immediate cash flow stress, Uber Eats built Daily Payouts and offered it free of charge from March 2020 through June 2021.
