Restaurant Dashboard on your own laptop or computer
You can now access Restaurant Dashboard through any laptop or computer by using a Google Chrome web browser. Read the instructions and tips below to get started. If you need Chrome, click the link below.
Get your laptop or desktop set up
Read instructions on how to access the Restaurant Dashboard through a website on your laptop or computer using a Google Chrome browser.
Step 1: Open a new Google Chrome Window
Restaurant Dashboard can only be opened on Google Chrome. If Chrome is open, click “File”, then “New Window”.
Step 3: Enter your login credentials
Use your Restaurant Dashboard username and password or the username and password you received when you first signed up your restaurant with Uber Eats. If you forgot or need to reset your password, please email email@example.com and someone will be in touch to help.
Step 4: Complete login
You should be logged in! If you are prompted to accept notifications, click “Allow” in order to ensure you receive orders.
Step 5: Review training guide
Once you have logged in, you can review the training guide by clicking on “Menu” then “How to guide” then “Get started”.
Please note: Restaurant Dashboard for Web is currently supported in Google Chrome only.
- If you’re opening Restaurant Dashboard for Web for the first time, you should see a pop up that says “Show notifications”. Please click “Allow”. This will enable notifications whenever a new order is received.
- If this is not the first time you’re using Restaurant Dashboard for Web and you want to turn on notifications later, please enable through the following process:
- Go to this URL: chrome://settings/content
- Scroll down to Notifications
- In the next screen that appears, scroll down to the section that says “Allow” and then click “Add”
- On the screen that appears, type in: https://restaurant-dashboard.uber.com
- Click “Add” again
Now you should be all set to receive orders on Restaurant Dashboard for Web.
Keeping tabs on incoming orders
If Restaurant Dashboard for Web is not the front tab on Chrome, restaurant staff may lose sight of incoming orders which may result in the restaurant going offline.
If a restaurant needs multiple tabs open in Chrome, our suggestion is to put Restaurant Dashboard for Web in its own browser window (no other tabs).
Make sure your device volume is on and audible so you can hear orders come in! When front-of-house operations get busy, audio notifications add an additional reminder to help staff fulfill new orders and keep track of updates.
