Help maximize your appeal with a promotion
Give customers more reasons to order your food by offering promotions. Most restaurants running a promo see an uptick in orders. Easily customize a promotion of your own to help grab customer attention and meet your restaurant’s goals.
How it works
Whether you want to drive sales of a specific dish or reach more customers at a certain time of day, a promotion can help you fulfill your restaurant’s goals.
- Sign in to your Uber Eats Manager account and look for the Marketing page.
- Choose the promo that meets your needs, then select your audience, time frame, and budget.
- Manage your promo on your own terms, without paying any extra fees to Uber Eats.
If you’ve got a goal in mind, a promotion can help you achieve it

FAQ
- How do I create a promotion?
Log in to Restaurant Manager and choose your promotion type to get started.
- Where can customers find my promotion?
Your promotion will be featured in the Uber Eats app - both in your restaurant card in the feed and on your menu page to select customers in your delivery radius. Customers can also see the promotion whenever your restaurant comes up in their search results, categorized by cuisine, dish, or name.
- Can I decide who sees my promotion?
Share your promo with all customers within your delivery radius, or share with only new customers who have never ordered from your restaurant location before.
- How do I pause or end my promotion?
You can end your promo at any time via Uber Eats Manager. A few clicks and your promo will be removed from the app. However, please note that you will set a maximum budget at launch, so your promo will automatically expire the minute you hit your max.
- What kind of promotions are available?
From savings on a minimum ticket size to free menu items, log in to Uber Eats Manager to see a full list of promos you can offer.
- How much does it cost to run a promotion?
Promotions work just as they would in your restaurant and require no extra cost to Uber Eats. Your marketplace fee will apply to the post-promo amount (except for $0 Delivery Fee promotion, where available)."Your restaurant will pay no additional fees to Uber Eats per promotion or per redemption. The only additional cost to your business is the discount of goods. For example, if you run a $5 off a $20 order, your restaurant covers the $5 as a part of your budget specified at the time the promo is created. Setting a budget ensures the promotion ends once your budget is met.
- How many promotions can I run at one time?
Run up to five promotions simultaneously. If you’re running multiple promotions for the same audience, users will only see one at a time. The promotion shown will be the most optimized choice for that customer.
- How long can my promotion run?
You can run one promotion for up to 120 consecutive days in a row. You can also end your promo at anytime.
- How will I know how my promotion performs?
You can view all promo redemptions by logging in to Uber Eats Manager. We will let you know how many customers redeem your promo, how many new customers you gained from the promo, and the total sales driven.
- What if I’m a franchisee or part of a corporation?
If you have questions about whether or not you should run a promo at your location, please reach out to your brand’s corporate team for more information.
