Launch a virtual restaurant
Virtual restaurants are delivery-focused concepts you can run out of your current kitchen, optimized with Uber Eats data. This allows you to connect to delivery people using the Uber Eats platform, giving restaurants like yours an additional way to feed local demand without the risk of opening a new brick-and-mortar.
On average, partners with virtual restaurants saw a sales increase of more than 50%.*

“We definitely felt like Lucky Cat had an opportunity to fill a gap, especially with vegan cuisine. It’s been amazing to open up another restaurant concept within the same brick-and-mortar.”

Virtual restaurant FAQ
- How do I launch a virtual restaurant?

4. Go live
Your virtual restaurant will launch as a new restaurant in the Uber Eats app, putting your ingredients and in-demand dishes in front of hungry customers.
- Why should I launch a virtual restaurant?
Help increase your revenue! On average, restaurants increase sales by over 50% after adding a virtual restaurant.* By creating a brand-new, data-focused menu out of your existing kitchen and materials, a virtual restaurant puts your restaurant on the cutting edge.
This is a unique opportunity for you to get creative and innovate your menu, then facilitate delivery to customers with less risk or added expenses associated with opening another physical location. A virtual restaurant allows you to repurpose ingredients you already have, in a space you already use.
- How does a virtual restaurant appear on the Uber Eats app?
Your virtual restaurant appears as a standalone destination for diners to discover within the Uber Eats app. Once your virtual restaurant is activated, customers will see two restaurants on the Uber Eats app that they can order from: one with your physical restaurant menu and one with your virtual restaurant’s menu.
Each virtual restaurant has a unique name, listing, and endorsement in the app that links back to the physical parent restaurant (you!). This way, your customers will always know where their food is coming from.
