Marketplace plans: reach customers on Uber Eats
Expand your reach by offering customers delivery and pickup from your business in the Uber Eats app. The Uber Eats service fee is calculated using the fee percentages below, which vary depending on the option you choose. The Uber Eats service fee is exclusive of VAT.

Leverage our network of delivery people to deliver. The same Uber Eats service fee applies for virtual restaurants.

Own the customer experience and use your own delivery staff. You may also use your own delivery staff for virtual restaurants.

Give customers more choice; allow customers to pick up from your restaurant. Pick-up is not available for virtual restaurants.
Activation fee
Joining Uber Eats as a merchant comes with an initial activation fee designed to ensure you have everything you need to start successfully. We charge £650 (excl. VAT) to join Uber Eats. This one-time fee is an investment into your business's growth on the platform and includes all equipment and training needed to set you up for success, including tablet, printer, menu creation and professional photography, window sticker, welcome pack, and activation training call.
Opt-Out Options & Fee Adjustments
We understand that every business is unique, and you may not require all the services included in the activation fee. To better accommodate your specific needs, we offer the option to opt-out of certain benefits or assets. If you decide not to avail of specific services such as menu photography or equipment, the activation fee can be adjusted accordingly, potentially lowering your initial costs. Please note that opting out of certain services may impact your operational efficiency and customer experience.

Uber One is a paid membership program that offers members specific benefits and discounts that can be applied to eligible orders via the Uber Eats app. These benefits and discounts may or may not apply to your restaurant at Uber Eats’ discretion.

You may have the option to access in-app marketing tools and purchase ads, which helps increase the likelihood of your business being placed higher in the home screen and in search and category results in the Uber Eats app.

- How do fees work?
Depending on how you choose to work with Uber Eats, different fees may be charged on orders facilitated through the platform. The Uber Eats Fee is charged to you for every order you receive from your customers via the Uber Eats App. It varies depending on the option you choose.
- What other fees do you charge?
You might encounter additional costs or Marketplace Fee modifications in your earnings statement, including (but not limited to):
- Promotion or advertisement fees: If you’re running a marketing or ads campaign through our in-app solutions, additional fees or costs may be applicable.
- Order error adjustments: These adjustments are for refunds given to your customers where the cost of such refunds are wholly or partially deducted from payments owed to you in accordance with the Merchant Refund Policy.
